When Mahesh and I founded GNFZ, our goal was to be more than just a certification body. We wanted to build a global network working together to advance net zero.

GNFZ isn’t just about earning certificates. It’s about credibility, visibility, and opportunity. Our pilot projects are recognized as pioneers. Our Advisors don’t just lend their names — they open doors, share expertise, and create demand. And our Partners extend reach and serve as the salesforce for the net zero movement. Together, these aren’t abstract benefits. They’re real advantages that help companies lead, differentiate, and grow.

If you’re ready to be part of the GNFZ network, there are many ways to engage:

Case Study Spotlight

Sustainability consulting firm D2O has achieved GNFZ’s Net Zero Design: Energy certification for its Jaipur headquarters. The project integrated energy efficiency, rooftop solar, and comprehensive tracking of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions to meet net zero energy performance standards. As both designer and occupant, D2O used the project as a live testbed to demonstrate what's possible in commercial building decarbonization. Explore the full case study to learn how net zero principles were applied in the Indian context—and how the building serves as a model for sustainable design in emerging markets.

Net Zero In Practice

This past month, GNFZ hosted two insightful webinars exploring how net zero is being advanced across sectors, geographies, and project phases — from global showcases to on-the-ground implementation.

On September 25, during Climate Week NYC, we convened leaders from around the world for a session on Global Stories of Net Zero Innovation, featuring commercial, institutional, federal, and educational case studies. Speakers highlighted the power of integrated design, local leadership, and global knowledge exchange in scaling decarbonization efforts.

On October 1, GNFZ partnered with Green Badger to host Navigating the Net Zero Journey: From Construction to Occupancy. This session focused on practical challenges and solutions across the full building lifecycle — including construction-phase documentation, post-occupancy engagement, and performance tracking.

No Building and Nobody Left Behind

Net zero isn’t a moonshot anymore. In this short video, we show how buildings can decarbonize without big budgets or complex strategies. By focusing on transparency, simplicity, and accessibility, GNFZ is making certification achievable for more organizations than ever.
