Building the Future of Net Zero: The Global Network for Zero’s 2026 Webinar Series
The Global Network for Zero is excited to announce our 2026 webinar series — a year-long program of live, virtual conversations designed to advance the real-world implementation of net zero across the built environment and beyond.
As the urgency of climate action accelerates, so does the complexity of delivering on net zero commitments. In 2026, we will explore net zero across the full spectrum — from resilience and Building Performance Standards to residential decarbonization, financing, higher education, the critical role of water and waste and the power of networks in advancing solutions. Together with our global advisor network, we are convening the leaders, practitioners, and innovators who are actively shaping what net zero looks like in practice.
The Global Network for Zero was built on the principle of shared knowledge, collaboration, and collective action. If we are ever to truly achieve net zero at scale, we must work together across disciplines, sectors, and geographies. Our virtual events convene leading experts in decarbonization, foster open dialogue and practical learning, and are always free to attend.
Our goal is simple: to equip the net zero community with the insight, tools, and connections needed to move faster and go further.
Our First Webinar: Why We're Starting with Resilience
We are kicking off the 2026 series with a timely and essential conversation:
Resilience and Net Zero: Two Sides of the Same Strategy
February 26, 2026 | 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM ET | Live Virtual Event

Net zero is no longer just about reducing carbon. As climate volatility increases, resilience must be embedded into every decarbonization strategy.
From extreme weather and grid instability to water stress and infrastructure vulnerability, the risks facing buildings and communities are growing. The next generation of high-performance buildings must be designed and operated to be both low-carbon and climate-ready.
This live, virtual event will explore how decarbonization strategies can — and must — be deployed to deliver more resilient buildings and spaces.
The session will feature leading industry experts with decades of experience delivering high-performance, future-ready projects:
Alan Scott, Director of Sustainability, Building Science Solutions, Intertek
Ken Filarski, Founder & Principal, FILARSKI/ARCHITECTURE+PLANNING+RESEARCH
Douglas Pierce, Director of Regenerative Design, Architect, Associate Principal, Perkins&Will
Holly Neber, Chief Resilience Officer, AEI Consultants
Daniela Zuloaga Romero, Americas Adaptation and Resilience Services Leader
Dena Prastos, Founder & CEO, Indigo River
What’s in Store for 2026
Following our resilience kickoff, the GNFZ 2026 webinar series will continue with monthly conversations covering the full net zero ecosystem.
Whether you are shaping policy, financing projects, designing buildings, operating portfolios, or leading sustainability strategy, the GNFZ 2026 webinar series is designed for you.
We invite you to register for any — or all — of these free events and join us throughout the year as we work together to accelerate climate solutions.
