Shreyasi Ansingkar is involved in the development and implementation of GNFZ’s net zero certification programs for existing buildings, new buildings and business’ operations, and also supports GNFZ’s go to market efforts in regions around the world. With over a decade of consulting experience delivering certifications and sustainability strategies, Shreyasi is dedicated to enabling GN’Z's clients to decarbonize, achieve their net zero goals and adhere to ESG compliance. Her work involves developing sustainability guidelines, identifying and assessing opportunities for efficient use of client resources, introducing strategies for waste reduction, helping clients develop plans to reduce and eliminate their GHG emissions.

Previously, Shreyasi led her own sustainability consulting practice, where she delivered a wide range of sustainability services to diversified stakeholders in the market, including IGBC and LEED certification for corporate clients and implementing Energy Conservation Building Code for office buildings in Maharashtra, among other work. An architect by trade, she also spent nearly 6 years at CII – Codrej GBC, where she assessed more than 250 green building projects, including conducting physical audits, building energy audits and supporting certification success.

Shreyasi is an IGBC Accredited Green Building Professional & BEE certified Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) master trainer. She also served as a visiting professor of Sustainable Architecture at the Bharti Vidyapeeth, Pune, Maharashtra, India, focusing on the domains of sustainability and energy efficiency.

She has substantial experience in topics like decarbonization, GHG emissions, renewable energy, circular economy, net zero, waste management, data management, life cycle impact assessment, equity and human rights, green buildings and ESG reporting. After getting her undergraduate degree in Architecture from Priyadarshini Institute of Architecture and Design Studies in Nagpur, she went on to obtain her master’s degree in environmental architecture from Dr B.N College of Architecture in Pune.

As a leader at GNFZ, Shreyasi is passionate about spearheading sustainability and ESG programs to transform the built environment to positively impact the people it protects.
