Seonhee Kim AIA, is a Principal and the Director of Sustainability at Design Collective in Baltimore, Maryland. With over 20 years at the firm, she has amassed extensive experience across various sectors, including higher education, student housing, mixed-use developments, and commercial office buildings. ​She has contributed to the design of more than 50 LEED-certified projects and consulted on numerous others and holds LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP, EcoDistrict AP credentials and is a member of the National Association of Minority Architects.

Seonhee is interested in integrating data-informed design process, experiential design, and academic research to advance sustainability, building performance, human behaviors in built environment.  ​She oversees the integrative design process and building performance analysis for all projects, and her portfolio includes notable projects such as the Cotton Annex Redevelopment in Washington, D.C., which involves the adaptive reuse and addition of a historic building for residential development. ​She has been featured in Architect Magazine's "Meet 10 Experts Leading the Charge on Sustainable Design," sharing insights on embedding equity in climate solutions. ​

Seonhee also holds a certificate in Executive Education for Sustainability Leadership from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Seonhee will be advising GNFZ on various net-zero impact sectors.
