Ruchi Sneha is Vice President of Technical Development at the Global Network for Zero, leading development, implementation and outreach of net zero certification programs for buildings, organizations, cities, neighborhoods and communities globally. She is focused on Asia and the Pacific and Middle East regions. Ruchi guides market strategy development for GNFZ’s products along with education, training and other market adoption tools for new products. Ruchi excels in providing tailored sustainability solutions for projects, enabling them to achieve net zero goals through decarbonization, ESG compliance, digital transformation and new technologies.

Previously, she served as the Associate Director of Technical Development at Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), where she was instrumental in developing LEED for Cities and Communities rating system and led LEED implementation in multiple large-scale projects including Dubai city government (DEWA); King Salman Energy Park, The Red Sea Development Project in Saudi Arabia; Beijing International Airport Area, China; Surat Smart City, India, and City of Savona, Italy. She has travelled and worked with projects globally in geographies ranging from Asia, Middle East, the U.S. and Europe.

Ruchi is proficient in certification programs and standards including the LEED rating system, the WELL standards, BREEAM UK, GRESB, UN SDGs and ESG reporting frameworks and standards like Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB). She holds a Masters in Technology, Sustainable Development and Climate Change from CPET University and a Bachelors of Architecture from The National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.

Ruchi is an expert in topics like GHG emissions, renewable energy, circular economy, net zero, waste management, data management, life cycle impact assessment, equity and human rights, green buildings and ESG reporting.
