GNFZ Advisor Joyce Lee, FAIA, LEED Fellow, is a widely recognized and highly accomplished architect and sustainability executive with 25 years of notable accomplishments and recognition by her peers in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry in North America with a list of awards and recognition.  

Joyce is currently President of IndigoJLD, providing green health, design, sustainability planning and AI advisory services for exemplary projects in the United States and Canada. Joyce became a LEED Fellow after her groundbreaking work at New York City government overseeing asset management and green development.  After the Bloomberg Administration, she has also been on adjunct faculty at the University of Pennsylvania focusing on building healthy places. Since 2021, she has chaired the American Alliance of Museums Environment and Climate Network and serves as a Senior Advisor to Econsult Solutions and Advisor to the GSA Green Building Advisory Committee.

In 2022, Joyce was appointed by Philadelphia Mayor Kenney to serve as an inaugural commissioner for environmental justice. In 2025, she was appointed by Mayor Parker to serve on the Philadelphia Planning Commission.

Joyce advises GNFZ on thought leadership, green health synergies, the cultural, government and institutional sectors and opportunities to harmonize action toward a net zero world.
