Leading Diamond Company SRK Paves the Way for a Net Zero Gem and Jewelry Industry
After six decades of sustainable excellence, Global Network for Zero partner Shree Ramkrishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. (SRK) has announced its inaugural Pure Impact Report.
In tandem with the announcement of its 2024 net zero certification with GNFZ for its flagship facilities, SRK Empire and SRK House, the multinational company leading the global diamond industry in decarbonization has released a complete history of its community impact, its greater transparency in ESG commitments and its rigorous zero emissions transformation.
Through its partnership with GNFZ, SRK has committed to achieve net zero certification for its two flagship diamond crafting facilities, SRK Empire and SRK House, by 2024 – a full six years ahead of the goals set within the UN framework and four decades ahead of India’s national commitment to net zero by 2070. To achieve this, the company is building an off-site solar power plant, electrifying its fleet, planting over 200 acres of trees and more, as outlined in their Pure Impact Report.
