Andrea Pinabell is a globally recognized sustainability and organizational leader with more than three decades of experience advancing climate action and decarbonization across the corporate, nonprofit, academic, and philanthropic sectors. She is known for catalyzing high-impact initiatives that integrate innovation, technology, and systems-level thinking to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon, resilient future.
Andrea is the Founder and CEO of AC Impact Advisors, where she partners with executive teams and boards to drive strategic, holistic transformation. Her work focuses on aligning stakeholders, building cross-sector partnerships, and embedding measurable sustainability and resilience outcomes into core business strategies while strengthening community impact.
Previously, Andrea served as Vice President of Growth & Innovation at RE Tech Advisors and as President of Southface Institute, where she expanded programs that advanced energy efficiency, green building, and climate solutions at scale. She also held senior leadership roles as Vice President of Sustainability and Global Citizenship at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and contributed to sustainability and community initiatives at The Home Depot Foundation and Kimley-Horn.
Andrea is an active board member and advisor across the clean energy and innovation ecosystem, including Lime Rock New Energy, Georgia Cleantech Innovation Hub, and Georgia Institute of Technology Strategic Energy Institute, as well as the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business. A dedicated mentor, Andrea supports emerging leaders and entrepreneurs through programs such as the Cox Cleantech Startup Accelerator. Her contributions have been widely recognized, including honors from Georgia Trend’s “Notable Georgians” and Atlanta Magazine’s “500 Most Powerful Leaders” (2020–2022).
As Advisor to GNFZ, Andrea focuses on strengthening strategic partnerships and advancing alignment across stakeholders to accelerate progress toward global net zero goals.
